Pitch Fees, Licence Costs and Equipment Hire

KINGS ROAD MARKET:

Market Trader 3m x 3m (Gazebo) = £30 per market (£40 Chinese New Year, £60 Frost Fair)

Small Market Stall/1 Table only = £20 per market (£30 Chinese New Year, £40 Frost Fair)
Hot Food Stall = £40 (£50 Chinese New Year, £80 Frost Fair)
Charity Stall – Selling Goods (as above depending on size of stall)
Charity Stall – Information only = FREE OF CHARGE
Double Stall = +£20 (+£40 Frost Fair)

PLEASE NOTE YOU ALSO NEED A STREET TRADING CONSENT (LICENCE) TO TRADE, THE COST IS IN ADDITION TO THESE CHARGES – PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR DETAILS.

HASTINGS PRIDE:

Market Trader = £75
Hot Food Stall = £300
Charity Stall – Selling goods = £75

Charity Stall – Information only = £40

As Hastings Pride is held at the Oval Ground this is licensed directly through Hastings Borough Council by us, therefore there are no individual Street Trading Consents needed to be applied for by individual traders

HASTINGS PIRATE DAY

Held on the Stade at Hastings Seafront, applications are invited for Market Traders for Hastings Pirate Day. Hot Food Traders are by invitation only.

Outside Standard Market Trader (Gazebo) = £70 + licence

Outside Small Market Trader (Stall) = £40 + licence

Indoor Table Trader = £55 per day (no licence)

One day Street Trading Consent = £38

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL APPLICATIONS ARE CONSIDERED BUT IN THE EVENT THAT WE ARE OVER-SUBSCRIBED SUSSEX CONCEPTS CIC RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ANY APPLICATIONS THAT MAY BE DUPLICATED ACROSS THE MARKET.

OUR DECISION IS FINAL.

ALL APPLICATIONS RECEIVED WILL BE INVOICED, IF THESE ARE UNPAID OR IF WE FAIL TO HEAR BACK FROM YOU WITH THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS WITHIN THE REQUIRED TIMEFRAME YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE PUT ON HOLD AND YOU WILL BE UNABLE TO TRADE.

STREET TRADING CONSENTS:

As in previous years we have managed to negotiate a Street Trading Consent (Licence) that covers all Kings Road markets throughout the year. If you have never traded before in Hastings and St Leonards and have never been in receipt of a Street Trading Consent from Hastings Borough Council they can offer a trial STC for a maximum of 3 Kings Road markets If you decide to continue trading at Kings Road after this time you will need to pay an additional amount in order to be licensed for the rest of the year. The pitch fees for Kings Road remain the same as above for new traders.

Kings Road Markets + Frost Fair (10 market dates) LICENCE COST £33

EQUIPMENT HIRE:

We have a limited supply of equipment available for hire for Kings Road markets. This includes Tables at £5 each and Small Market Stalls (similar to the photo above) at £10 per market. These are all available on a first-come, first-served basis. Any new traders taking advantage of the 3 trial market licences may be offered free hire of a stall or table depending on availability. You will need to bring your own table coverings.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ONLY HAVE A COUPLE OF GAZEBO’s FOR HIRE. ALL TRADERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO BRING THEIR OWN STALL/SET-UP.
